Finding car parts used to be something done solely by your mechanic or auto body shop. Either they would have the part in stock, order the part from one of their wholesalers or find used car parts depending on the customers need. As the customer you would then have to not only pay for the part but pay the mechanic or shop for ordering the part as well as the labour to install the part. Today with the internet, sourcing car parts is very easy.

There are a variety of retailers and wholesalers on the web which you can use to directly purchase the part you want. This is helpful if you want to do the work yourself, or even if you plan on bringing the part to your mechanic, because first and foremost it saves you money. No matter where you order car parts from be sure to be very specific about the make and model of your car to make sure you aren’t stuck with a part that doesn’t fit your car or truck.
